The Barn welcomes the Rejection Project , a new multi-media play made from hundreds of Albany community stories and voices, performed by friends and neighbors in the 518 area. They were asked to share their stories, experiences, thoughts, and opinions on how rejection influenced their lives. ‘How they have been rejected (by people, communities, society)?’ They responded with stories about racism, sexism, protest, heartbreak, love, self-empowerment, discrimination of disabilities, friendship, family, transphobia, homophobia, and claiming your identities.
