Sponsor the Barn's Fundraising Events
Albany Barn, Inc.’s mission is to develop the infrastructure and culture necessary to sustain a vibrant and equitable creative economy in the communities we serve. What does that mean? We’re here to support our artists, makers, and creatives because in turn, they support our community at large.
Across three facilities in Albany and Schenectady—including Academy Lofts artist housing in partnership with the Albany Housing Authority, work-only studios for artists, and a co-working makerspace—we’re here to support artists’ success. Artists are creative people, and they bring that creativity into their communities: To an artist, a blank wall is not empty space, but a blank canvas. To another artist, a park filled with people is not simply a gathering place, but an open-air classroom for making and performing art. And to someone else, an empty storefront is not vacancy, but possibility—a studio, a shop, a stage for sharing their work and their gifts. Albany Barn, Inc. is here to help turn those visions into reality and to support artists’ need for connection.
Throughout the year, we host only two annual fundraisers, aptly named MEDLEY and FUSION. We are a medley of artists, makers, and creatives coming together in fusion—not just to build up our creative community, but to strengthen the greater communities around us.
Albany Barn, Inc. works hard to recognize our valued partners before, during & after this unique, successful annual event through comprehensive promotion & acknowledgments! Below you’ll find a detailed list of benefits and acknowledgments that accompany your generous investment.
As our largest sources of unrestricted funding, these events are essential to advancing our mission.
