Community Asset Residency Application

  • Apply as an individual or organization to complete an asset project. This could be for the direct benefit of the applying organization/ individual, on behalf of an organization/individual, or a larger community/neighborhood. Preference is given to projects that could offer skill based training opportunities to the community. Projects are chosen based on need of applying organization, individual, or community; potential for positive impact; and practicality of completion in the space.
  • For example: grant funding period, submission deadline, or weather dependent work.
  • Please be as specific as possible. For example, if the project involves building park benches, how many/ what size or any other details you consider relevant.
  • If so, detail where it is going and what it is being used for. For example, is it an item intended for a specific location or organization? If you have a space to house the project once completed, give an address and contact information for the location.
  • Upload an itemized outline of any cost associated with the project.
  • Outline what funding or donations you have, what you are working on getting, and what you still need.
  • How many hours (estimate) of additional labor are needed? How many individuals do you estimate needing to complete your project?
  • If not, do you need assistance developing lesson plans?
  • Are there any aspects of your project that you anticipate needing input, collaboration, and/or support from another artist, maker, and/or specialist? If yes, what specific skill sets are you seeking and for what purpose?
