No plans for this weekend? The Barn's got you covered!
This weekend is shaping up to be an exciting one at The Barn!
Celebrate 1st Friday and rediscover Arbor Hill by checking out THREE brand new visual art exhibitions all a short walk down the newly tree-lined North Swan Street corridor:
IMPRESSIVE Printmaking Exhibition: open hours 3 – 6pm, The Barn, 56 Second Street
UAG Member Show: open hours 6 – 9pm, Stage 1 Gallery, 46 N. Swan Street
Summer Art – solo Exhibition by Sion Hardy: open hours 6 – 9pm, Third and Swan, 42 North Swan Street
In addition to our exhibitions, our friends at Lights Up Productions have two shows going on this weekend that can’t be missed!
Into The Woods: Friday the 4th at 7pm, Saturday the 5th at 2pm
This fractured fairy tale combines Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Ridinghood with the story of the Baker and his Wife who have been cursed by the Witch. As they set off into the woods, we see how the consequences of their actions haunt them in disastrous ways.
Lion King Junior: Saturday the 5th at 11am and 7pm
Lion cub prince Simba grows up in the African heartland until tragedy forces him to run away. He ultimately learns to take his rightful place in the animal kingdom, in this theatrical version of the Disney animated film.
Hope to see you this weekend!
