Joining us for Black Dimension's in Art's UNREST Artist Talk and want to check out…
As we wrap up 2013, the Albany Barn is celebrating one of our most successful exhibitions, “Gifted.” This exhibition, featuring small and affordable works perfect for the gift-giving holidays, showcased the talents of 9 local artists with total sales reaching $880.00 and $652.50 in commissions paid to our exhibiting artists.
Due to the positive feedback we received from “Gifted,” Albany Barn plans to make this an annual event and a local holiday shopping must!
We’d like to thank everyone that came to our two receptions for Giving Tuesday and 1st Friday! Also, we’d like to personally thank our artists: Caroline Morgan, Nicolette Calloway, Craig Shufelt, Emily Collins, Cheryl Gowie, Jerry Boehm, Troy Cloth and Paper, Jessyka Neitzel & Danielle Breitenbach of Duchess and Bacon Handmade Neckwear, and Megan Ruch.
We look forward to our next exhibition, “Sculptures at Stage 1” featuring artist in residence Ed O’Connell along with Dorothy Osborne and Kim Dolan. We hope to see you on January 3rd, from 5-9 PM for our 1st Friday reception; let’s start the New Year off with a toast to local art!
