“As we highlight the newly completed murals, we reflect on the stories, history and journeys the artists and community take as we celebrate their vision and passion. We are fortune to live in a city that supports creativity, and our goal is to continue empowering artists and creatives to make a positive difference in the community,” said Tony Iadicicco, Executive Director of the Albany Center Gallery and Curator of Capital Walls.
“I couldn’t think of a better way to close out a Day of Discovery than with a celebration of public art, and the artists who’ve given us eight new gems for residents and visitors alike to discover here in Albany,” said Kristen Holler, Executive Director of the Albany Barn.
“We continue to be excited about the role we are playing in advancing the vibrant arts scene that Albany has. Not only are we able to celebrate the beautiful and thought-provoking murals that have been added this year, but we’ll be unveiling yet another mural.
