MEDLEY 2026: Battle of the Brushes is Back!

An Intimate Fundraising Gathering to Support Albany Barn, Inc.’s Mission of Sustaining a Vibrant & Equitable Creative Economy in the Capital Region.

Friday April 10th 6PM-9PM

at Albany Barn (56 2nd Street, Albany NY 12210)

$100.00 Per Ticket (Dinner, Dessert, Drinks, & the Show)

Battle of the Brushes is back! The Rules:

Each team will be given basic materials (paint, brushes, canvas, easels, water, paper towels, tape)
Each team will get 2 hours on April 9th to get their piece started and ready for the big show (the pieces must be complete by 9 PM on April 10th)
If a team raises $500 by April 9th, they will be allowed to bring a special item from their studio (that the other team will not have)
The team that raises the most money by April 9th, will be awarded up to three additional hours to work on their piece on April 9th
Over the course of the evening on April 10th, Albany Barn, Inc.’s Executive Director, will also be our host for the evening, yay McCauley! She will be checking in with the artists and asking them about their work so all attendees can see how the pieces evolve!

You vote with your dollars! So the team that raises the most money by the end of the night will be crowned champions!

Both pieces will be up for auction in the fall for FUSION (save the date: Friday, October 16th).
