Historic Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill is one of the most iconic buildings in Albany, built in 1787, it has an  intact collection including more than 70,000 items-decorative arts and furnishings, books, diaries, documents, clothing, bedding, photographs, and other objects reflecting daily life-all related to the family that lived here between 1787 and 1963. Albany Barn has worked with Cherry Hill on a number of different projects including our Annual Pumpkin Party on the Hill, a family friendly event where we have activities such as a pumpkin carving demo and pumpkin decorating station. We also have a pumpkin decorating competition that guests can vote on, we encourage applicants to create pumpkins based on the story of the murder at Cherry Hill.
