Sarah Lyons draws and paints people and animals as she sees them. You might think she’s been influenced by both cubism and cartoons, or maybe even 60’s pop art, or more lately, Persian miniature paintings. In the end, these are overshadowed by the fact that she really just draws and paints her way. Slightly off beat, beautifully creepy, and pain stakenly rendered, she sees things you don’t, and tips her hat to no one. If she asks you to pose, you may want to smile…and let her know you are running late for a meeting.
