“Art is the center of the real world”
Tony Iadicicco is an abstract expressionist oil painter. He is known for my bold, vibrant colors and the movement that is within his paintings.
Tony was born in Watertown NY into a military family. After moving around many times while a child, his family settled in Schenectady where he spent most of his time growing up. During his early years of school art was a focus and this passion continued on to study design. He also was trained collegially in graphic design, but much of his ability is self taught. He soon realized that painting was a true passion. Creating a space with such depth and emotion captures the essence of who Tony is. Some paintings have so much brushwork that isn’t blended that gives another dimension. Others have been thinned out so much that it becomes one with the canvas. These techniques have set his work apart and have made it highly distinguishable. He has won many awards for my work, and most recently named one of “Tomorrow’s Masters Today” by the Albany Institute of History & Art, Arts Ambassador volunteer of the year award from the The Stakeholders and Local Artist of The Year by 518Fever.com.
