Every first date is a mini-play: we have props, lines (questions, prompts, stories, brags), costumes, make up, and act a certain way. I was curious about how we connect (physically) and disconnect (digitally) and how contemporary relationships are formed and explored: so I joined Tinder and went on seven dates. “What Are You Looking For? (A Question Every Tinder Guy Asks)” is a creative interpretation of my Tinder experience. It explores the meaningful, awkward, hilarious, and sexual experiences of a 28-year-old single girl navigating her way through the contemporary dating world.
